Air

Only on Zlatibor three major air currents create a wind rose that is extremely convenient in the context of preserving health, as well as for the drying of our products. Warm winds from the Mediterranean and crystal sharp air of the Alps and Dinarides meet with the strong currents from the Carpathians just above our Mačkat.

Water

Mountain waters are rich in minerals and salts that are giving the pulse to the ecosystem of Zlatibor. When the water is used in production, it returns to the nature through the most advanced system of wastewater treatment by natural filtration. Water is returned to nature in its original form, so that next generations can continue living on a unique and wondrous mountain of Zlatibor.

Fire

For many generations, the best pieces of smoked meat were dried solely on the smoke of dried beech wood. This way the meat absorbs only the minimal quantities of harmful substances, which are way below prescribed limits, and at the same time attains the inimitable flavor of Zlatiborac products. Today, only the process of acquiring new knowledge is accelerated in the company’s laboratories, while the essence of the traditional process still lies on three major foundations: tradition, nature and continuous learning.
