“TOBACCO” PORK CRACKLINGS
Traditional Serbian product, which is made from pork meat and lard. This product is typical for West Serbia, and it was made for the first time two centuries ago. “Tobacco” pork cracklings got their name based on their appearance because they resemble cut tobacco. “Tobacco” pork cracklings are obtained by melting fatty tissue and meat without the skin in the artisan process of making lard. They are later pressed, changing the structure of the meat considerably.
Sensory characteristics: Pleasant smell and taste, typical for fresh pork cracklings.
Ingredients: Pork meat, solid fatty tissue, kitchen salt.
