Caprese salad with Zlatiborac royal salami

  • 60 g of Zlatiborac royal salami
  • 400 g of tomatoes
  • 200 g of mozzarella cheese
  • 40 g of rocket
  • 10 g of “Pesto alla Genovese” sauce
  • 0.03 liters of olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for decoration

Preparation: Soak the rocket in cold water and leave it for 5-10 minutes to rest. Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into slices of approximately same thickness. Blend pesto and olive oil in a small bowl and mix them well. Take the rocket out of the water and dry it with a paper towel.
Arrange rocket, tomatoes, mozzarella and Zlatiborac royal salami on a platter. Next, season with prepared dressing and salt, to taste. Garnish the salad with fresh basil leaves.
