Grandpas potato with Zlatiborac thin bacon
Preparation:
Peel the potatoes, carrots and onions and cut them into large chunks. Cut Zlatiborac thin bacon into large chunks as well. Wash the vegetables and put them in a deep bowl. Add Zlatiborac thin bacon, spices and lard. Mix everything well and pour into the baking dish. Carefully add water making sure that it doesn’t rinse the spices. Preheat oven to 210°C and bake for about 90 minutes, i.e. until potato gets done.
